NEW!  There are two academic year FAFSA's available.  Be sure you select the right one for your intended semester(s)!
          - File the 2016-2017 FAFSA to apply for Fall 2016, Spring 2017, or Summer 2017 sessions!
          - File the 2017-2018 FAFSA to apply for the Fall 2017 semester.
Both forms will ask for your 2015 income information based on new regulations. If you need assistance completing the FAFSA contact the Financial Aid Office to set up an appointment.
Financial Aid applicants should submit a Credit Balance Authorization Form to the Payment Center to authorize financial aid to pay for all institutional expenses.
Refund Checks: Fall 2016 & Spring 2017 refund checks are currently being released on a weekly basisStudents will receive an email notification to their student Qmail account when they have a refund check available.  Please check your Qmail before waiting in line at the Payment Center.  Please note that if you plan to cash your refund check at Santander Bank, you may experience delays.  The branches closest to QCC are unlikely to have enough cash on hand to process all QCC student refund checks right away.  We encourage you to deposit your check or visit other Massachusetts Santander branch locations
The Financial Aid Office now has a Help Center!  Students can utilize the Help Center to:
          - File their FAFSA
          - Create an FSA User ID
          - Complete Master Promissory Notes and/or Entrance Counseling requirements for their student loans
          - Complete the Blackboard SAP Appeal Course
Financial Aid staff are available to answer questions you may have on these processes.  Contact the Financial Aid Office to schedule an appointment or stop by the Financial Aid Office to see if one of the computers are available for walk-in service!
The Financial Aid Office automatically awards all eligible students their full Direct Loan eligibility for the year. Students are not required to borrow Direct Loans. We strongly encourage students to review their educational expenses for the year and only borrow what they need. Visit our Direct Loan page for detailed information.
